What is the difference between virgin and pure coconut oil? - coconut and diverticulus

I've heard great things about the use of virgin coconut oil on the skin. But when I for my local grocery stores to "Pure" oil of the coconut will have. I bought a few, but I fear it will clog pores or something. Can anyone tell me if you can use or should I go to the health shop and you will find extra virgin coconut oil? Thank you very much!
